Welcome to our Terms and Conditions of Business. By using our service, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

What Can You Expect:

Our pure water cleaning system is very effective at removing general dirt from your windows. However, please note that it may not be effective for removing builders residue (e.g. plaster, concrete, and paint), stickers or adhesives, staining/discoloration on windows or frames from chemicals or rust, and UV bleaching of frames. Please notify us when we call to arrange your first clean if any of these issues are present.

Frequency of Visits:

We offer the option of every 6 or 12 weekly visits. We ask for some flexibility on time scales due to rain and other factors. We may need to adjust the scheduled date by a week, either earlier or later.

Bad Weather:

We will try to avoid cleaning your windows in the rain, but we will work in light rain or short showers. If rain is heavy, we will not clean your windows. Your clean will be carried over to the next working day.

Turning Us Away:

We strive to be reliable, but we also appreciate reliability from our customers. We make time and space in our schedule for you. If you turn our team away at the door or cancel on the day with our office, we reserve the right to charge you the full price expected and/or cancel any ongoing service with us. We also reserve the right to charge the full price expected if access on the day has not been made available by the customer.

Ending or changing your Service:

If you wish to cancel our services for any reason, you may do so at any time by calling us at 01643 224257 or emailing us at eljetexteriorcleaning@gmail.com We kindly request that you refrain from conveying messages via our window cleaners. While they diligently perform their duties, they are susceptible to human fallibility, and as a result, the messages may not always reach their intended recipients. Please note that we do not offer one-off window cleans, and by using our services, you agree to a minimum of 3 cleans. If you cancel before 3 cleans have been completed, the remaining cleans will still be payable.

Complaints Procedure:

We always strive to provide you with the best possible service. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 24 hours of the clean, and we will return the next working day to re-clean your windows for free. Please note that complaints made after 24 hours may not be re-cleaned. We do not offer refunds, but we will rectify any work you are not happy with free of charge provided we are informed within 24 hours of the clean date.

Confidentiality:

We keep all customer information confidential and secure as required under the terms and conditions of the data protection act.

Payments:

Customers joining our 6 or 12 weekly rounds are required to pay via our direct debit system GoCardless, which can be set up on our payments page. Payments are then automatically collected 5 days after each clean. Customers booking our other services such as gutter clearing, who are not joining our regular rounds, are required to pay by credit or debit card in advance. This can be done over the phone with our office at 01643 224257. Once payment is made, we will book the job.
